Emergency Notification Awareness

Navy can’t alert you, if they can’t find you.

In accordance with CNIC.3440.17, a Wide Area Alert Network instruction, ALL military, civilian and contractor personnel on installation are required to register with AtHoc for emergency mass notification, ensuring personnel are informed during potential base hazards or critical situations.

It is each members responsibility to register with updated contact information. Registration enhances your safety and empowers you to react in times of crisis, ensuring that real-time alerts provide information to you and your family on what to do and where to go in an emergency situations and permits you to get word when it is clear/safe.

CIVI/NON-NMCI/NON-CAC REGISTRATION:
1. Search AtHoc in the APP Store
2. Download BlackBerry AtHoc
3. Register your email
4. Verify your email
5. Enter your Naval Base Ventura County organization code: PRTH
6. Press Send/Enter keyboard

NMCI USERS:
1. Access AtHoc Icon: Click on the Up Arrow located on the bottom
right side of your computer screen to access the AtHoc icon.
2. Access Self Service: Click on the AtHoc icon, then select
"Access Self Service" and click "Ok" to proceed.
3. Navigate to My Profile: Once in Self Service, navigate to the
"My Profile" section.
4. Update Information: Ensure that your name, work email address,
and work phone number are accurately inputted. While the rest of
the information is optional, providing additional details can enhance
the effectiveness of notifications.
5. Save Changes: Click on "Save" in the upper right-hand corner to
save your updated profile.
