Force Protection

Mission
Force Protection's mission is to deter, detect, and defend the installation's personnel and assets against hostile actions. We accomplish this mission through the effective integration of Anti-terrorism, Physical Security, Law Enforcement, and Access Control.

Visitor Pass
Visitor passes are issued by the Naval Base Point Loma Pass & ID office. All visitors must be appropriately sponsored before a visitors pass will be issued. Sponsoring commands can submit requests to Naval Base Point Loma Security via nbplaccess@navy.mil.

Pass and ID is in Building 174 and is located at the corner of Rosecrans Street and Strothe Road. Hours of operation are 0630-1500. Telephone: (619) 553-0938.
