Assistant Security Officer

Serves as the senior enlisted member of the NSF. He/she is responsible for the daily operation of the entire Security Detachment. He/she is responsible for the discipline and morale of all assigned members. Responsible for training, coordination and evaluation of all members, to include all Physical Security, Law Enforcement and Force Protection functions. The ASO reports directly to the Security Officer in the performance of all duties and is accountable for informing the Security Officer on all matters concerning the Security Detachment.
