Rideshare Process

Commander Navy Region Southwest Rideshare Program

Credentialed Rideshare drivers are currently authorized access to the San Diego METRO area installations and are able to serve Naval Base San Diego, Naval Medical Center San Diego, Naval Base Point Loma, and other Navy and Marine Corps installations in San Diego. 

Rideshare is also authorized at Naval Air Station Lemoore, Naval Base Ventura County, Naval Air Station Fallon, Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, and Naval Support Activity Monterey.

METRO Expedited Process:

Download and fill out the SECNAV 5512-1 form. 

Form is available online by searching “SECNAV 5512/1”. 

Drivers should email the completed form to CNRSW_HQ_PARKING@us.navy.mil or call 619-705-6789.

Once form receipt is acknowledged, you will be directed to proceed to Naval Base San Diego Visitor Control Center in 3 business days.

Naval Air Station Fallon Expedited Process:

Download and fill out the SECNAV 5512-1 form.

Form is available online by searching “SECNAV 5512/1”.

Drivers should email the completed the form to nasf_n34passandid@us.navy.mil or call 775-426-2430.

Once form receipt is acknowledged, you will be directed to proceed to NAS Fallon Visitor Control Center in 3 business days.

Download and fill out the SECNAV 5512-1 form.
 
Form is available online by searching “SECNAV 5512/1”.
 
Drivers should email the completed form to NASL_PASS_ID@us.navy.mil; call 559-998-3386 for questions.
 
Once form receipt is acknowledged, you will be directed to proceed to NAS Lemoore Visitor Control Center in 3 business days.

Walk into Naval Air Station Lemoore Visitor Control Center, fill out a form, and return in 72 hours to complete the credentialing process or upon notification that it is complete.

Download and fill out the SECNAV 5512-1 form.

Form is available online by searching “SECNAV 5512/1”.
 
Drivers should bring completed form into NBVC Visitor Control Center, along with documentation of proof of employment for the Rideshare company.

Walk into Naval Base Ventura County Visitor Control Center, fill out a form, and wait for real-time vetting. Wait times vary from 10 minutes to 3 hours; or turn in the form and return in 72 hours (3 business days) to complete the credentialing process.

Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake Process:
 
Download and complete the SECNAV 5512/1 form.
 
You may also obtain the form from our Visitor Control Center. This form is used to conduct criminal history checks for suitability.
 
Drivers should drop off the completed form to our Visitor Control Center (Bldg. 1487); or call 760-939-3160 for questions.
 
Once the form is received the vetting process may take up to two weeks.

Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake Walk-in Process:
 
Go to our Visitor Control Center, complete the SECNAV 5512/1 form, and wait for real-time vetting.  Wait times vary from 10 minutes to 3 hours.  You will need to provide authorized documents to establish identity. A list of approved identity documents can be found on page 3 of the SECNAV 5512/1 form.

Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach Rideshare Process

Download and complete the SECNAV 5512/1 form.

Drivers should bring completed form into respective Visitor Control Center, along with documentation of proof of employment for the Rideshare Company.

Once form receipt is acknowledged, you will be directed to return to the respective Visitor Control Center Officer in 3 business days.

Naval Support Activity Monterey Rideshare Process

Download and fill out the SECNAV 5512-1 form. 

Form is available online by searching “SECNAV 5512/1”. 

Drivers should email the completed form to vcc@nps.edu or call 831-656-3643.

Once form receipt is acknowledged, you will be directed to proceed to the base Visitor Control Center. The Visitor Control Center is located at the base’s Sloat Gate.

Naval Base Coronado and Naval Air Facility El Centro currently do not have a rideshare program.
