Ridesharing companies are now authorized to provide transportation services to Department of Defense members inside Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach installations.
Rideshare drivers that have been pre-vetted at one of the command’s Pass and ID offices and issued a Defense Biometric Identification System, or DBIDS, credential may access naval weapons station installations at Seal Beach, Fallbrook and Norco, California for the sole purpose of picking up or dropping off DoD members at authorized locations.
All passengers in the vehicle must be in possession of a valid DoD credential to access the installation.

For Passengers: As with any new service, DoD members should be aware that the number of rideshare drivers issued DBIDS access credentials may be limited, especially in the early stages of program implementation. DoD members should check with their rideshare providers to determine if they provide services inside Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach installations.
For Rideshare Drivers: Please follow the below procedures to obtain access to Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach installations.
Download and fill out the SECNAV 5512-1 form and read the base Rideshare Instruction.
Drivers should bring a completed form into the respective Pass and ID office, along with government ID and proof of employment for the Rideshare Company.
Once form receipt is acknowledged, you will be directed to return to the respective Pass and ID Officer in three business days.
