Base Access
Visiting the Station requires a vetting process and the approval of a badge for you to enter the installation. The type of badge received will depend on the purpose and duration of the visit. Please visit the Base Access page to learn about the different types of badges available to guests and the process for obtaining one.
The Pass and ID Office, located just outside the installation's Main Gate, processes all badge requests. They are open normal working hours 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on non-flex (working) Fridays, and closed flex (non-working) Fridays, weekends and holidays.
Driving Onboard the Station
Driving a government vehicle or a privately-owned-vehicle (POV) within NAWS China Lake gates is a privilege and requires that you follow NAWS' policies and rules for operating a vehicle while onboard the installation. Please review NAWS' Vehicle Policies prior to visiting.
