Credentials are issued to working professional members of the media that have an assignment related to the Point Mugu Air Show. Freelance photographers not on assignment can apply but may not receive credentials.
Credentials allow access to media-only activities, access to the media designated areas, and assistance with performer interviews.
Credentialed media may NOT bring family or friends into designated media areas.
Issued credentials will require photo ID upon entry.
All media requests must be submitted online.
Please be prepared to provide the following documentation alongside your completed media application:

- Intent to Publish / Letter from Editor (Freelancers)
- (3) Examples of previous work
- State Driver's License or Issued Federal ID (US Citizens)

POINT MUGU – The U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, will be joined by the U.S. Air Force Demonstration Squadron, the Thunderbirds, as co-headliners for the 2023 Point Mugu Air Show March 18-19, at Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC), Point Mugu.
“We are excited to bring air shows back to Point Mugu,” said Robert “Barr” Kimnach III, commanding officer, NBVC. “This family friendly event will offer a historic and unique opportunity to showcase two of our military’s top demonstration teams together, the Navy Blue Angels and the Air Force Thunderbirds.”
POINT MUGU (NNS) – The BO 105C Red Bull Helicopter piloted by Aaron Fitzgerald will return to the 2023 Point Mugu Air Show March 18-19, at Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC), Point Mugu.
