NAS Lemoore Public Affairs Office supports Commander, Navy Installations Command by acting as the liaison between NAS Lemoore equities and the local community and media.

Community Relations

  • The Public Affairs Office may conduct tours of NAS Lemoore for youth and civic groups. If you wish to arrange a tour of NAS Lemoore for your group, please call 559-998-3393 or email nasl_pao@us.navy.mil.

We need at least a 30-day notice to arrange a tour, and we request that tour groups not exceed 12 people at any one time. For reasons of safety, school tours should be high school age or older. Tours are conducted on Fridays only. Tours require large amounts of walking and climbing of stairs. Those with health concerns may not be suitable for the tours.

If you are on active duty and stationed at NAS Lemoore, and would like to be a tour guide, please notify your LCPO, LPO or the base PAO. It is an excellent way to find greater fulfillment in your job and show the local community what the Navy and NAS Lemoore is all about.
 

  • The Public Affairs Office also acts as a liaison between local groups who would like to schedule speakers at specific events. If you are interested in public speaking, please contact the PAO to arrange for you to be entered into the Speakers Bureau. Approved speakers may participate in speaking engagements with groups such as the Lions Club, Rotary, Kiwanis, Navy League and various school groups. 


Media Relations

  • If you are a member of the media and are looking for the most up-to-date information about NAS Lemoore, please visit our Facebook page or Instagram page.

  • If you are a professional photographer or print or broadcast journalist wishing to come on board for legitimate media access, such as a magazine article or news broadcast segment, please email the PAO at nasl_pao@us.navy.mil or call 559-998-3393.

  • Unfortunately, photography enthusiasts will not be granted access. You must have a contract in place with a legitimate media source to be afforded access.
