Air Operations

We are responsible for the operation of the airfield, providing services and support to the Naval Air Station, tenant and transient aircraft. Our services include air traffic control, flight scheduling, operation and maintenance of navigational aids, ground approach radar, communications equipment, Navigational Aids (NAVAIDS), emergency arresting gear and optical landing systems. Enlisted rates within our department are ABH, ABE, AC, ET and IC.
