The staff of CSD Fallon provides prompt, professional, courteous and comprehensive pay, personnel, administration and transportation support to authorized military and civilian personnel, including family members in Nevada, Utah, and Northeastern California. CSD, located in Building 309, issues identification cards for active duty military and their family members, reserve personnel and retired military with information obtained from the Defense Enrollment and Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) database. Customer Service Hours are from 0700 to 1530 Monday through Friday.
Personnel reporting to NAS Fallon or tenant commands are serviced by CSD. All personnel must report to CSD to complete their transfer process. Personnel reporting after hours or on weekends must report to the NAS Fallon Quarterdeck located in Building 350 to have their orders endorsed with the date and time of check-in. Delays in reporting to CSD may affect pay and allowances, so make sure it is one of your first stops.
When checking in with the Receipt Section of CSD the following documents and information will be required:
1) Service Record for Enlisted Personnel;
2) Original Orders with detaching endorsements from prior command(s);
3) Receipts for Lodging, Travel (air, bus, train, etc.);
4) Travel Claim (dates of departure, modes of transportation, and reason for stop);
5) Current Address (building number and room number if in BQ);
6) The name, address and Zip code of a spouse or next of kin (for Page 2 processing).
NAS Fallon is located approximately 70 miles east of Reno. There is no commercial transportation from Reno to NAS Fallon other than a taxi. The cost for a one-way trip to NAS Fallon is approximately $100, and in most cases unnecessary. It is important to inform your sponsor of your flight schedule so no cost transportation from the airport to NAS Fallon can be arranged for you and your family members. If transportation is not provided, for whatever reason, please contact the NAS Quarterdeck at 775-426-2715 to get transportation authorized and dispatched.
