6-24-2026 - The Navy is preparing to release a developer solicitation as part of a competitive process to select a potential master developer for the reutilization of 28 acres of land at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach. More information HERE.
6-08-2026 - MAIN GATE OPEN. Our Main Gate on Seal Beach Boulevard has been reopened and is now available for base access 24/7. Gate 9 on Westminster Avenue has reverted to being open only during regular business hours.
5-15-2026 - MEMORIAL DAY EVENT MOVED - The annual "Tolling the Boats" Memorial Day event honoring submariners lost during WWII has been combined with the local public Memorial Day ceremony. It will take place at Eisenhower Park in downtown Seal Beach at 11:30 am on Monday, May 25. There will be no Memorial Day event at the base WWII Submarine Memorial this year.
Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, California and its Detachments - located in Fallbrook and Norco, California - exist to provide weapons storage, loading, maintenance, and assessment support to ships of the United States Pacific Fleet. Our facilities also support Coast Guard vessels and Marine Corps units stationed afloat and ashore.
