CMDCS (AW/SW) Joseph W. Little Jr.

Senior Chief Little is a native of Tampa, Florida. He enlisted in the Navy and reported to Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, IL, in August 2000. Following Recruit Training Command, he reported to United States Navy Ceremonial Guard. He reported Naval Air Technical Training Center Pensacola, FL where he completed Aviation Ordnanceman “A” school in March 2002. Upon Completion of training, he reported to Fighter Squadron ONE FOUR THREE (VF 143) Virginia Beach, VA.
 
Senior Chief Little’s assignments include: Fighter Squadron ONE FOUR THREE (VF 143) Virginia Beach, VA; Naval Munitions Command CED Sewells Point Norfolk, VA; Strike Fighter Squadron TWO ONE ONE (VFA 211) Virginia Beach, VA; Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron TWO FOUR (MALS 24) Kaneohe Bay, HI; USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) San Diego, CA; Air Test and Evaluation Squadron THREE ONE (VX 31) China Lake, CA. In May 2024, he reported to Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS) China Lake as Command Senior Chief.
 
Senior Chief Little is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (class 252/Red team), CMC Course (class 23100) from Newport, R.I. and Senior Shore Leadership Course (class 2403) from Washington Navy Yard. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts.
 
Senior Chief Little's personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (6), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (2) and numerous campaign and unit awards.
